Offerings and Series

  • This is a virtual gathering where we will mix of all my favourite subtle practices for a deeply restorative and healing experience.

You can expect Restorative Yoga, Pranayama (breath practice) and Yoga Nidra.

The intention of hosting these sessions are to encourage a slowing down, as well as create a reoccurring community of people who are interested in leaning into stillness together. By slowing down, we can tap into a deeper connection with ourselves and our surroundings. We’re better able to appreciate the simple things in life, find joy in the present moment, and let go of worries or regrets via the process of surrendering.

No experience is necessary. A beginners mind is encouraged and welcomed!

  • Please join us for a free monthly gathering of Mothers.

Within these intimate gatherings, mothers can come together to share and connect. With an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding, you can expect to share your experience of Motherhood and perhaps learn a thing or two from each other!

We meet at The Schoolhouse Collingwood on Thursdays from 7 - 8:30pm.

    Please RSVP HERE.

  • The practice of hatha yoga can help align and calm the body, mind and spirit. Generally, the tone of Nicky's hatha class will feel gentle, yet creative. Enjoy a pace in which you can dive into your experience through the exploration of meditation, mindfulness, pranayama and active asana.

  • Vinyasa Yoga (a.k.a Flow Yoga), is a more intricate version of hatha yoga. Within a vinyasa class, you can find the asanas to be arranged in an intentional way, usually building to a peak asana. The level of the class will determine the cadence of its pace.

  • Restorative yoga is on the opposite spectrum of vinyasa yoga. The practice of restorative yoga is to soften. There are many props included in this type of yoga to help support the body in it's maximum relaxation. Pranayama and meditation practice are generally areas of focus in this style of yoga.

  • Prenatal yoga is curated for the ever-changing pregnant body, mind and spirit. In these classes, you can expect to connect with other parents-to-be; discuss common pregnancy milestones, move your body in safe and creative ways, learn traditional and modern coping tools in preparation for labour, birth and parenthood. Generally, Nicky hosts these classes as 6 week series to cultivate a sense of community and integrate the lessons.

  • Baby and Me Yoga is not your typical yoga class. Babies, up to pre-crawlers, are welcome to join. As babies need more of your attention during this time, mama is welcome to change, feed and soothe anytime during class. You can expect discussions around developmental milestones, new parent celebrations and struggles, gentle and safe postures, strength based movement, mindfulness and kinship. These classes are a great way to leave the house, connect with your baby and other parents in the community.

  • Yoga Nidra is a physically relaxing practice, some may say it is an extended Savasana.

This is a guided practice where you will be encouraged to explore the liminal space between consciousness and unconsciousness. The practice of Yoga Nidra may assist in burn out, fatigue, physical and mental healing; a deeply luxurious practice to offer yourself wherever you are in your life.
